District Post Commanders Meeting Recap

• Community Presence & Engagement:
• Membership Growth & Retention:
  Monitor your membership and New membership monthly. Larger Post monitor New membership at least every two weeks. (Remember transfers will not count until next year unless they paid their current membership at your Post this year).
• Have Community events for your local leaders: Mayor, Chief of Police, Fire Chief, and EMS Director recognize them with a Dinner and maybe a plaque to their station. This will help grow your relationship within the Community. (Be Sure to invite you local Newspaper to these events).
• Have a Dinner to recognize your local Fire Dept., Police Dept. and EMS.
• Outreach at Community Events:
• Community Events: Host car shows, motorcycle shows, family days, breakfasts once a month open to the community. Use small entry fees for car and motorcycle shows, offer small trophies, or cash awards to winners to generate participation and Post revenue
• Have a community Flee Market: Rent out tables at $20. A table to help generate a small profit but have community engagement which is even more important.
