Structure and Leadership Within the District:
The American Legion District, like its individual Posts, is led by a dedicated team of Officers and Committee Chairpersons. The District typically consists of approximately eight Officers, each entrusted with a specific title and set of responsibilities that contribute to the effective governance and mission of the organization.

The American Legion Family:
The strength of The American Legion lies in its four distinct Family components: The American Legion, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Sons of The American Legion, and the American Legion Riders. Each Family plays a vital role in advancing our shared values and objectives, and each maintains one or more committees that support their respective missions.

The Role of Committee Chairpersons:
Committee Chairpersons serve as the operational backbone of The American Legion. Through their leadership, they plan, coordinate, and execute essential initiatives that uphold our commitment to veterans, their families, and our communities. Whether organizing fundraising efforts, facilitating community outreach, or managing other key programs, these individuals exemplify the Legion’s spirit of service and dedication.
