Question: Why do I need to go to District Meetings?
Answer: District meetings are a great way of communicating between Post and Department. The District Commander and it’s Officers are basically the liaison for your Post and the Department of Kentucky.
Question: Why else should I travel to a District meeting?
Answer: District 4 offers opportunities for training at the beginning of each meeting. These quick training sessions are very informative for Post Commanders, Post Adjutants and Members alike. At District meetings you will learn about what the District committees are planning, including, vital information, times, locations and how your Post can get involved in something bigger than your Post. District meetings are also a great place to exchange idea’s with fellow Commanders, Adjutants and members or District Officers.
