POST MEMBERSHIP UPDATE

The Target Date for March is March 11th 2026 is 90%.
There are still at least 5 Post under 80% of their paid membership for 2026. Post Commanders and Adjutants we really need to get with the members who have not renewed their membership yet.
Send out notices, make phone calls and send emails to those members who have not renewed their 2026 membership reminding them it’s that time once again and that it is past due.

Some other ideas to help increase your membership for 2026.
1. Coordinate with your local Chamber of Commerce to set up a table to tell local veterans about the American Legion and membership drive.
2. Schedule an Open House at your Post offering tours, actives for the day, and information about your Post to help recruit new members.
3. Start recruiting members from Post 200 within a 10 mile distance from your Post and explain the benefits of belonging to an actual Post.
